Hi, my name is Benoit Emilien a citizen of the Republic of Mauritius Indian Ocean. I used to work as a Civilian Emergency Nurse on the US Navy base Island of Diego Garcia B.I.O.T Indian Ocean for almost two 2 years. This will remain my greatest experience working overseas as an expatriates. I am currently working with International SOS and my last assignment was the Democratic Republic of Congo in Central Africa, more precisely in the Eastern province close tot the Sudan order. My duties consisted mainly of providing Emergency and primary health services to Expatriates in Mining Operations. I had the opportunity to visit the US on two occasions in 2001 and 2006 where I came to hear about health force. I wanted to join the organization for the love of travel assignment. But unfortunately this was not possible because I am not Licensed to work in the US. I did try to work out licensing but it turned out to be a lengthy procedure. And with out financial support I had to return back home In Mauritius where i am Leaving presently. I still receive daily mail from Health Force and it is with a great pleasure that I am reading the story of Michael Burnettte. I feel very proud of him and of our profession which with passion and dedication can make a difference in the life of so many people around the world. Michael Keep it up and go the achievement of your dreams. I am sure a lot of people of our generation would have loved to be in your position including my self. I wish you fruitful experience working in Iraq and I pray that you accomplish your mission with proud and honour and that you return home among your family safe and sound. With Best wishes Benoit Emilien Mauritius
