What exactly is JCAHO?

• Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations
• Independent, non-for profit sets standards and accrediting body in health care since 1951
• Standards focus on quality and safety of care by health care organizations
• Evaluates compliance and accredits over 15,000 health care organizations and programs in the US

 In order to achieve this accreditation, Health Force had to meet JCAHO’s high standards of leadership, human resource management, performance management and improvement and information management.  This certification assures our commitment to JCAHO’s standards for hospitals, and sets us apart as an industry leader committed to quality.
